Different types of psoriasis produce different lesions. There are five types of skin psoriasis: Plaque, guttate, pustular, inverse,erythrodermic and 80% of people living with psoriasis have plaque (plak) psoriasis, known as psoriasis vulgaris.
Plaque psoriasis causes patches of thick, scaly skin that may be white, silvery, or red. Called plaques (plax), these patches can develop anywhere on the skin. These plaques can be found in elbows, knees, lower back, scalp.
